Publication Moving
to ONLINE!

Clay Platte Baptist Association's NORTHLINE: As the cost of postage and printing continue to increase and the number of people with on-line access continues to grow; it seems like a step in the right direction to turn this newsletter into an on-line publication. This is one of many changes we will be making to our website. We are very excited about the idea of improving our website to include:
  • a page for each of our churches information.
  • a map with our church locations.
  • links to websites including our churches.
  • downloadable forms, or forms that can simply be filled out on-line directly.
  • Mission opportunities
  • and much more!
We understand that change is not always pleasant, but feel that the per piece cost of this publication is excessive. We look forward to this change with great anticipation! You can also read this newsletter in acrobat format:

Bibles for Inmates

This month we received one donation to assist this ministry. Thank you to the JOY Senior Ministry at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church! ...and once again thank you to all that have helped to support this in the past. As we have mentioned before this ministry has needs on a continuing basis. Help put Bibles in the hands of those who need it most. Send your donations to:

LamberthLINES
I have just completed seventeen years as the Director of Missions for Clay-Platte Baptist Association. Where has the time gone? I appreciate the opportunities I have had over these years of ministry.

MissionLINES
When I was a child I always thought I would never get older; but since I have realized I am getting older, it seems like time is going really fast. I can not believe that summer is just around the corner again.

CollegeLINES
College students face a tremendous amount of pressure. They are transitioning from a world of dependence on their parents to provide their needs......

NewHopeLINES
Here we are with the camp season almost here and we are wearing our winter coats......

ChurchLINES

Liberty Manor: The Slocum’s would like to thank all those that came to Russ’ ordination service. It was very special and meaningful. Pastor Randy’s charge to Russ was so heartfelt. It brought tears. They also wanted to thank the deacons and their wives for everything. It was wonderful! They wanted to share the picture below emphasizing the special moment. Russ & his son Chris.

Pleasant Valley: Pleasant Valley is offering An Equipping Seminar for Church Leaders; “Helping the Porn Addicted” is the topic of the free seminar 1-4 P.M. June 6th. The seminar is for pastors and church staff to receive training in sexual addiction awareness and practical guidelines for working with those affected by sexual addictions. The seminar leader is Dr. Paul Carlisle, who has been a pastor, counselor and seminary professor. He knows the power of addiction having grown up with an alcoholic father. For more information, contact Mason Lumpkins at 781-5959 or mason@pleasantvalley.org
